Product Designer (Staff)

Job description

[Vendelux](https://vendelux.com/) is building the category-defining platform for event marketing intelligence. Events are one of the largest and most impactful marketing channels, yet historically one of the least measurable. Vendelux brings transparency and performance to this space — helping companies discover, evaluate, and optimize their event strategy with data. Our platform powers thousands of event decisions by delivering proprietary, AI-driven insights across hundreds of thousands of events globally. At the core of our platform is a robust ecosystem of event organizer partnerships — where organizers share first-party data, enabling richer insights for customers while receiving benchmarking and audience intelligence in return. From identifying the highest ROI conferences to enabling targeted meeting programs, Vendelux helps companies turn events into a predictable and scalable growth engine. In addition, Vendelux Meetings extends our platform by turning insights into pipeline — using AI to identify high-value attendees and proactively book 1:1 meetings between our customers and their ideal prospects at events. This enables go-to-market teams to drive measurable ROI and maximize every event interaction. Founded in 2021, Vendelux is a Series B SaaS company backed by top-tier investors including FirstMark. We partner with many of the fastest-growing companies in the world, and our team includes leaders from Bain, ZoomInfo, Shutterstock, FanDuel, Compass, Airbnb, Forter and beyond. ________________ Vendelux is looking for a Staff Product Designer to own the customer journey across our product, from first login to the workflows customers use every day, and to shape how our product and engineering teams design with AI. You will report to one of our co-founders and work side by side with engineering, Customer Success and go-to-market teams. This is an individual contributor role with broad ownership across web and mobile. Success looks like an onboarding experience that gets customers to value quickly, fewer dead ends in the product, and a team that designs and prototypes faster because of the practices you bring. This role is based in our NYC office. ## **What You'll Do** - Own the customer journey across web and mobile, from first login through daily use and inviting teammates, and remove the dead ends along the way. - Take features from customer problem through design, build and release. - Redesign onboarding so new customers reach their first moment of value quickly, with the full flow inside the product. - Improve the usability of the core workflows customers rely on every day, such as campaign setup. - Work side by side with engineers on web and mobile to implement and ship your designs. - Partner with Customer Success and go-to-market teams to find where customers get confused and turn those patterns into product fixes. - Lead the initiative to make customer onboarding self-serve, including a help center where customers and internal teams can find answers. - Design self-serve experiences that let smaller customers succeed without hands-on support. - Design for both AI and chat-based interfaces and traditional SaaS interfaces, so every customer has a path that works for them. - Set best practices for AI-driven prototyping and for how prototypes move into development across product and engineering. ## **Who You Are** - 8+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design or a similar role. - A portfolio of features you designed that shipped to production. - Experience owning a full product area or customer journey. - Strong UX and UI skills, with experience designing complete user journeys in a SaaS product. - Hands-on experience prototyping with AI tools such as Claude. - Experience designing both conversational or AI interfaces and traditional SaaS interfaces. - Experience designing for web and mobile apps. - Track record of leading product initiatives across design, engineering and customer-facing teams. - A product-minded designer who thinks from the customer's point of view at every step. - Energized by owning outcomes and seeing your work in customers' hands. - Highly collaborative, at home working with engineers, Customer Success, sales and founders. - Enjoys getting close to customers and the teams who support them. - Excited by new AI interfaces, with a clear view of which tools and workflows work best today. - Puts usability and functionality first, with a strong eye for visual quality. - Comfortable bringing structure to ambiguity in a fast-moving environment. - A seasoned designer who has built and shipped product at a fast pace and enjoys raising the bar for the team. - Experience designing help center or knowledge base experiences - Experience designing self-serve products for small and mid-sized business customers ## **Benefits** - Competitive base salary and bonus - Equity - Healthcare covering medical, dental and vision - 401(k) - Catered lunch every day in our NYC office - Unlimited PTO plus two company-wide shutdowns during the July 4th week and the Christmas – New Year's week Not all candidates will check all of the requirements listed above and that’s ok! We are open to great people from non-traditional backgrounds. Vendelux is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We are committed to equal opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, gender, gender identity, parental or pregnancy status, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or veteran status.
