Product Manager

Overview Who we are Collaborative. Respectful. A place to dream and do. These are just a few words that describe what life is like at Toyota. As one of the world’s most admired brands, Toyota is growing and leading the future of mobility through innovative, high-quality solutions designed to enhance lives and delight those we serve. We’re looking for talented team members who want to Dream. Do. Grow. with us. An important part of the Toyota family is Toyota Financial Services (TFS), the finance and insurance brand for Toyota and Lexus in North America. While TFS is a separate business entity, it is an essential part of this world-changing company- delivering on Toyota's vision to move people beyond what's possible. At TFS, you will help create best-in-class customer experience in an innovative, collaborative environment. Toyota does not offer support or sponsorship of job applicants for employment-based visas or any other work authorization for this role now or in the future. You must have the right to work in the United States and not require Toyota support or sponsorship for immigration-related employment (e.g., H-1B, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, ‘job flexibility benefits’ [also known as I-140 or Adjustment of Status portability], etc.) now or in the future. You should not apply for this role if you will require Toyota to assist with immigration support or sponsorship now or in the future. Who we’re looking for Toyota Financial Services is looking for a Product mManager who is obsessed with the customer, makes decisions with data, and moves with the urgency of a startup inside one of the world's most trusted brands. This isn't a project management role. You won't be taking requirements from the business and handing them to engineering. You'll own new experiences around car shopping — the moments that turn a curious browser into a confident buyer. You'll talk to real shoppers, dig into the data to find where the experience breaks down, and make hard trade-off decisions with incomplete information. You also think beyond your own slice. You believe a great product is one connected experience, and you actively look across experience lines to spot inconsistencies and dependencies before they become problems — then build ideas for the good of the whole journey, not just your piece of it. If you've thrived in a startup or early-stage product environment and yet can navigate, anticipate , and address the needs of a large enterprise, this is the role. What you’ll be doing Own the vision and implementation of new car-shopping experiences end-to-end. Be a thought leader on the shopping journey — stay ahead of emerging technology, market shifts, and customer trends, and turn them into experiences that set the product apart rather than follow the market Talk to customers regularly — run usability tests, join discovery interviews, and use what you learn to shape the product Define product strategy through PR/FAQs and PRDs that articulate the customer problem, the solution, and how we'll measure success Make prioritization decisions based on data, customer feedback, and business impact — not opinions or stakeholder loudness Partner with engineering and design — you bring the "what" and "why," they bring the "how" Ship incrementally — define releases, set acceptance criteria, and get working software in front of users fast Instrument everything — define success metrics for engagement and conversion, build dashboards, and use data to decide what to build next What you bring 5+ years of product management experience on consumer-facing digital products A track record of shipping products that customers actually use — not just features that got deployed Experience owning multiple connected experiences or a customer journey end-to-end, and making the trade-off calls across them Hands-on with data — you're comfortable digging into datasets, writing queries, and measuring quality and behavior yourself, not waiting on a report Experience working directly with engineering teams in an agile environment to ensure what's built matches your vision in the most effective way Strong written communication — you can write a clear product brief that engineering, design, and business stakeholders all understand Startup mindset with enterprise polish — you're comfortable with ambiguity, you move fast, but you can bring along critical stakeholders with patience and confident leadership Passion for modern product management practices and AI-powered tooling — you actively explore how AI can accelerate discovery, analysis, and delivery Added bonus if you have Experience in automotive, fintech, lending, or marketplace products Experience with commerce, checkout, or financing experiences Experience building products that involve regulatory or compliance considerations You've written a PR/FAQ or similar "working backwards" product document What we’ll bring During your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities. A few highlights include: A work environment built on teamwork, flexibility, and respect Professional growth and development programs to help advance your career, as well as tuition reimbursement Team Member Vehicle Purchase Discount Toyota Team Member Lease Vehicle Program (if applicable) Comprehensive health care and wellness plans for your entire family Toyota 401(k) Savings Plan featuring a company match, as well as an annual retirement contribution from Toyota regardless of whether you contribute (if applicable) Paid holidays and paid time off Referral services related to prenatal services, adoption, childcare, schools and more Tax Advantaged Accounts (Health Savings Account, Health Care FSA, Dependent Care FSA) Relocation assistance (if applicable) Belonging at Toyota Our success begins and ends with our people.
