Product Manager - Consumer Experience

Job description

### **Super Payments** Super Payments is the only global fintech platform providing 0% processing fees for merchants. Our mission is to **use data and AI to make payments free for businesses, so that everyone wins**. At Super, we are disrupting payments, like Spotify did to music and Robinhood did to trading. We don't make money from transaction fees; instead, we monetise through value-added services such as lender commissions and FX. Our platform supports multiple payment methods — from traditional cards to direct bank transfers via open banking, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and our own Buy Now Pay Later solution. Super has raised $66M from leading investors including Accel, Union Square Ventures and Local Globe (the same investors behind Spotify, Stripe, Monzo) and founded by Samir Desai CBE, co-founder of Funding Circle. Already trusted by **thousands of businesses and more than 4 million customers**, Super is processing at a run rate of £1.5B and growing 4x YOY **Our Values** - **Customer obsessed:** We only succeed when our customers do. - **Move fast**: Build, test and improve quickly. Progress matters more than perfection. - **Own it**: Be accountable, solve problems, and make it happen. - **Be open**: Act with honesty and respect. Transparency builds trust. - **Win together**: Collaboration beats ego every time. ### **Product Manager - Consumer Experience** The Product team sits at the centre of that mission. We move fast, challenge everything, and build experiences that make people wonder why the old way ever existed. We're not here to iterate on the status quo — we're here to blow it up and replace it with something better. This is a rare opportunity to build with AI-native tools and cutting-edge technology from day one. Our PMs don't just spec features — they shape how millions of people interact with their money. That means thinking bigger, moving faster, and refusing to accept "that's just how it works" as an answer. We need someone who thrives on ambiguity, picks fights with convention, and brings a relentless hunger to solve problems that actually matter. You'll shape the roadmap working across Commercial, Operations, Design, Engineering, and Data to ship world-class web and mobile experiences, including the checkout and payment flows that sit at the very core of what we do. The playbook for the future of payments hasn't been written yet. Come help us write it. ### **What you’ll be doing** - Shaping the roadmap — obsessing over the right problems, defining audacious success metrics, and making sure decisions are commercial and made with the customer in mind - Driving impact that's measurable, meaningful, and repeatable based on data, market research, customer insight and conviction - Taking products from zero to one and beyond — ideation, development, launch, growth, and the relentless optimisation that follows - Pushing Engineering to move fast and build right — leading on technical approach, requirements, and delivery without ever losing sight of the bigger picture - Partnering with Design and UX to create web and mobile experiences that are simple yet transformative - Obsessing over checkout and conversion flows — running bold experiments, letting go of what doesn't work, and doubling down on what does - Cutting through complexity with stakeholders across Marketing, Legal, Financial Crime, and Strategy — aligning fast and moving faster **Requirements** **We’d love to hear from you if you:** - 10+ years of product management experience working on consumer focused features with a track record of taking features from zero to one - Direct experience working on consumer features, e.g. consumer checkout, apps, consumer fintech, — you understand how conversion and drop-off can trade off against each other, and you've moved the needle on them. This is a consumer product role, not a back end payments / infrastructure or B2B platform position. - Experience working with Engineering: you can write a clear spec, argue technical trade-offs, and make the call when there's no clean answer - Sharp with data — you define success metrics and are able to analyse all data related to your features - A bias for shipping: an 80%-right version this week beats a 100%-right version next quarter - Excellent written and verbal communication, able to bring engineers, designers, and non-technical stakeholders onto the same page - Genuine curiosity about your product with real opinions on how to continually improve it - You’ve shipped and grown a product used by tens/hundreds of thousands of consumers (E-commerce, retail marketplaces, subscription, fintech gaming, or media) - Credit experience is a plus. \*The stated experience and background is a guide and does not preclude applications from candidates with more or less experience, provided the requisite skills can be demonstrated. **Our Benefits - here’s a few and more to come ….** - Tax advantage Share Options - Flexible working model - Work from home set up - Learning & Development opportunities - Contributory Pension Scheme - Free Team lunch (Tues & Thurs) and social evenings - Comprehensive PMI & x4 Life Insurance - Your birthday off, plus one Revival day If you are excited about sharing the adventure, joining a growing team with big ambitions and you are really great at what you do, then apply now! **Super Payments is an equal opportunity employer, embracing diversity in all its forms and fostering an inclusive environment. The company will not unlawfully discriminate on grounds of gender, sexual orientation, marital or civil partner status, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, disability or age, neurodiversity status, pregnancy or trade union membership.** **Please let us know if you require any reasonable adjustments at any point during the application and/or recruitment process.**
