Product Manager (Web & App)

Job description

Shape how tens of thousands of patients experience Wellis digitally, from first website visit to long-term treatment. Own the roadmap for our web platform and mobile app, and drive experiments that improve conversion, retention, and satisfaction. Introduction The digital patient journey at Wellis is growing rapidly and becoming more complex. To take it to the next level, we're looking for a Product Manager Web & App. You will own the product roadmap and prioritization across our web platform and mobile app-from first visit and prescription flow through onboarding, subscriptions, and long-term engagement. Working closely with engineering, UX/UI, data, and key stakeholders across medical operations, marketing, and customer care, you'll turn insights into shipped improvements and experiments that lift conversion, retention, and satisfaction. This is a hands-on role with real ownership for an experienced product builder who wants to make Wellis' digital experience the benchmark in healthcare. About Wellis Wellis is a fast-growing healthtech scale-up that is reinventing one of the most traditional sectors: healthcare. What started just three years ago has already grown into a company with tens of thousands of customers, and we are only at the beginning. By combining medical expertise with technology and data, we make healthcare smarter, more efficient, and more personal. Our mission is to improve everyday lives by making care accessible, personal, and seamless. Through our platform, people can take control of their health journey with trusted medical support, smart digital tools, and tailored programs. We move fast, challenge conventions, and build solutions that truly make an impact, because we believe better healthcare should be within everyone's reach. About the Role As a Product Manager Web & App, you'll own the product direction for Wellis's web platform and mobile app across the full digital patient journey - from first visit through long-term treatment. You'll translate business goals, user needs, and medical requirements into a clear roadmap, and partner closely with design and engineering to ship improvements that drive conversion, retention, and satisfaction. With a strong eye for data and user insight, you'll identify friction points, run experiments with our CRO specialist, and align stakeholders across the business to keep the product vision sharp and execution moving fast. You will start by owning the web platform and the mobile app together across the full digital patient journey. Both are first-class products. As the team grows, ownership may concentrate more on the app. We want someone who thrives owning both at the start and can adapt if focus deepens into mobile later. Key Responsibilities Own the product roadmap and prioritization for Wellis's web platform and mobile app, translating business goals and user needs into clear features and improvements. Define, scope, and deliver product initiatives across the full digital patient journey - from first visit to long-term treatment and subscription management. Run product experiments together with our CRO specialist (A/B tests, feature releases) to improve conversion, retention, and user experience. Work closely with UX/UI and engineering to ship high-quality features that support weight management treatments, subscriptions, and the broader wellness platform. Analyze user behavior data, customer feedback (e.g., via Intercom), and medical team insights to identify friction points and opportunities for innovation. Set clear product objectives and success metrics, and continuously track outcomes (including conversion, app/feature adoption, and NPS for the digital experience). Align and manage stakeholders across medical operations, customer care, marketing, and leadership, while maintaining a clear product vision. Communicate roadmap progress, trade-offs, and learnings clearly, and help the organization make data-informed product decisions. About the Team In this role, you'll work day-to-day with Engineering and UX/UI to define, prioritize, and ship improvements across our web platform and mobile app. You'll also partner closely with colleagues in marketing & growth, data & analytics, medical operations, and customer care to translate business goals and patient needs into a clear roadmap and to validate decisions through research and experimentation. As our digital domain is growing fast, you'll have a key role in shaping how we build product at Wellis and how teams collaborate across the full digital patient journey. Who You Are Extremely entrepreneurial and resourceful . You invent paths when playbooks do not exist, and you ship without waiting for perfect conditions. Strong product instincts. You have a clear sense for what patients and the business need next, including when the data is incomplete. This role is 100% AI- and agent-enabled . You are comfortable with an agentic product development process and with working with agents as part of how you build. You have clearly shown proficient use of agentic systems such as Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, Grok, or Cursor. Bring specific instances. Examples include shipping a feature end to end with agents, turning a backlog into agent-runnable specs, or cutting cycle time by pairing with coding agents. We will ask for those examples in the process. Bachelor's or Master's level education. 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for web platforms and mobile apps. Experienced in a start-up/scale-up environment , comfortable with speed, ambiguity, and pragmatism. Strong at translating business goals and user needs into a clear roadmap, priorities, and well-defined product requirements. Data-informed and outcome-driven; able to define and track product KPIs like conversion, adoption, retention, and NPS. Comfortable running experiments (e.g., A/B tests, feature releases) and collaborating with a CRO specialist on hypotheses and success criteria. Confident partnering daily with engineering and UX/UI to ship intuitive, high-quality experiences across the digital patient journey. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without formal authority across medical, operations, marketing, and leadership. Curious and customer-focused; skilled at turning feedback and insights into concrete product improvements. Fluent in English; Experience in healthcare, subscriptions, or marketplace/e-commerce environments is a plus. What We Offer The opportunity to help build a fast-growing healthtech scale-up from the inside. A hands-on Product Manager role with real ownership of the web platform and mobile app roadmap. Close collaboration with engineering, design, medical operations, marketing, customer care, data, and leadership. The chance to make our web platform and mobile app the envy of everyone else - improving conversion, retention, and the end-to-end patient journey. A culture of short lines, speed, pragmatism, and continuous improvement - where impact matters. Hybrid working: partly from our new office in central Rotterdam, partly remote (We are flexible on that so dont hesitate to apply) Hiring Process Introductory chat with Georgios (Recruitment Lead) – an informal online call to get to know you and answer your questions. Interview with the CTO – a deep-dive conversation about the role, your experience, and Wellis' ambitions. Case & presentation – you'll prepare a case on site and present it to at least 2 stakeholders. This way, you get to know us better, and we get to know you. Final conversation with the founders – a closing meeting where you'll hear more about the bigger Wellis story and feel whether this is the right place for you. We keep the process compact and clear: you'll always know what to expect and truly get to know our team before making your decision.
