Product Marketing Lead - Trade

Job description

***Please note that we are unable to consider applications from candidates based in France, Italy, or Germany for this role.*** Money is moving onto the internet, and the shift has a name: **Open Money.** This is money that is open, portable, agentic, and owned by you. MetaMask spent the last ten years building it; with 100M+ downloads, users in ~190 countries, and trillions in cumulative transaction volume, it's the most trusted self-custodial financial platform on the internet. Now we're building the operating system for your money: one place to hold, move, grow, and use anything you own. Join a remote-first, global team rebuilding how money works: a problem that touches everyone, every day. **About the role** MetaMask is the world's leading self-custodial wallet — and the primary gateway for hundreds of millions of people into the onchain economy. Our Trading features sit at the heart of that experience: enabling users to place a swap, a perp trade, a prediction market trade, or an investment in Real-World-Assets (RWA) with confidence. We're looking for a strategic, data-informed, and user-obsessed ***Senior Product Marketing Manager*** to own the positioning and growth of these features. This is one of the highest-leverage roles in the MetaMask marketing organisation — sitting at the intersection of product strategy, go-to-market execution, and long-term brand trust. You'll report to our Product Marketing Director and work across Product, Growth, Brand, Business Development, and Partner Marketing to ensure every launch and lifecycle initiative is anchored in insight, competitive differentiation, and measurable impact. **What you'll do** *Strategy* - Define and execute end-to-end GTM strategy for features within Trading across global markets — from opportunity sizing and positioning through to launch and lifecycle optimisation - Partner with Product leads to shape roadmap priorities based on market insight, user behaviour, and growth potential - Act as a strategic thought partner to Product and Growth, representing user needs and market realities in decision-making - Influence long-term product strategy and monetisation through competitive analysis, segmentation, and market research *GTM and product growth* - Lead product and feature launches, crafting narratives that resonate with crypto traders and holders, - Drive lifecycle marketing initiatives that increase awareness, activation, and retention across Trading funnels - Partner with Growth and Analytics to identify friction points and opportunities within user journeys, translating insights into programmes that move key metrics — conversion, volume, retention - Ensure strong measurement and continuous iteration — every campaign should have clear success metrics and documented learnings *Cross-functional collaboration* - Collaborate with Product, Brand, Growth, Communications, Business Development, and Customer Support to deliver integrated campaigns that connect product value to cultural relevance - Align cross-functional stakeholders and manage timelines, priorities, and expectations to ensure seamless execution - Partner with Data and Product to monitor performance, share learnings, and continually refine GTM approaches *Brand and community* - Strengthen MetaMask's reputation as a trusted, user-first brand in the Trading community - Support education, community, and influencer programmes that drive awareness and confidence — particularly among emerging market segments - Ensure consistency in storytelling across all surfaces, from lifecycle emails to content and brand campaigns **What you'll bring** - 6 to 8+ years in product marketing, ideally within fintech, crypto, or a high-growth consumer tech environment - Demonstrated success leading complex product launches and lifecycle growth initiatives with measurable outcomes - Strong strategic thinking and storytelling ability — able to turn complex product concepts into clear, compelling narratives - Analytical and outcome-driven; comfortable interpreting data and using insight to inform both marketing and product strategy - Exceptional cross-functional communication, influence, and project leadership skills - Deep curiosity about web3, DeFi, and onchain user behaviour — or direct experience in the crypto ecosystem - *Nice to have:* experience in leading GTM for perps trading and prediction markets products and leading GTM to Asia audience. Don't meet all the requirements? Don't sweat it. We’re passionate about building a diverse team of humans and as such, if you think you've got what it takes for our chaotic-but-fun, remote-friendly, start-up environment—apply anyway, detailing your relevant transferable skills in your cover letter. While we have a pretty good idea of what we need, we're ready for you to challenge our thinking on who needs to be in this role. *The salary range listed for this role applies to US-based candidates only. Compensation for candidates based outside the US (including Canada, EMEA, and LATAM) will be determined based on location, experience, and skills during the interview process, and may differ from the listed US range.* US pay range (not including bonus, equity or other benefits) $146,000—$220,000 USD In the rapidly evolving Web3 space, we believe that everyone is a builder. At MetaMask, this diversity fuels our ability to shift control and redefine the realm of possibility. We are committed to ensuring that our technology empowers people and communities through decentralized technologies. We welcome the range of perspectives and differences and celebrate them. We're excited to see how your unique skills as a builder can contribute to our vision, drive innovation, and help us shape a more inclusive Web3. MetaMask is an equal opportunity employer.
