Find out more about the many benefits we offer: Meet the team and get to know the people behind Evonik: Meet the Team Responsibilities Provide functional, company-wide expertise in specific topics of toxicology and regulation to ensure business success Develop scientific strategies to defend the product portfolio of Evonik Industries AG Identify trends to further develop expertise and support strategic planning Establish targeted networking within internal and external committees, expert groups, and working groups Mentor other experts and ensure knowledge transfer through training programs Take responsibility for the development and implementation of effective, discipline-specific processes for harmonization and standardization Requirements Completed degree in veterinary or human medicine with a specialization in toxicology/pathology, alternatively a degree in a scientific field such as chemistry, biology, or a related discipline, ideally with a PhD Proven ability to represent strategically in national and international expert committees (e.g., VCI, Cefic), ideally with a strong network of relevant stakeholders in chemicals legislation In-depth knowledge of chemicals legislation, legislative processes in the EU, and their impact on products and markets Extensive, including practical, experience in the field of (eco)toxicology, ideally as a board-certified toxicologist or equivalent Advanced knowledge of animal studies and strong analytical skills in dealing with complex animal models; knowledge in epidemiology is an advantage Experience in leading and developing experts within the discipline Business-fluent German and English skills; additional language skills are an advantage Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a high level of problem-solving orientation Your Application To ensure that your application is proceeded as quickly as possible and to protect the environment, please apply online via our careers portal .
