Product Support Technician Large Format Printing & Equipment | Technical Support | Field Service The Opportunity Do you enjoy figuring out how things work—and fixing them when they don't? SignWarehouse is looking for a Product Support Technician to join our growing technical team. This is a hands-on, problem-solving position that combines technical support, equipment troubleshooting, customer service, and field service. You'll work with a variety of professional printing and finishing equipment, helping customers get the most out of their technology and keeping their businesses running. If you're mechanically inclined, comfortable working with technology, enjoy troubleshooting, and like the idea of getting out from behind a desk and traveling to customer locations, this could be a great fit. Experience with large-format printers is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person with strong mechanical, electrical, technical, or troubleshooting experience. What You'll Do Technical Support Provide Tier 2 technical support to customers by phone, email, and chat Troubleshoot equipment, software, connectivity, and workflow issues Diagnose problems and guide customers through solutions in a clear, patient manner Escalate complex issues when additional manufacturer or engineering support is needed Field Service & Travel Travel approximately 50–75% of the time to customer locations throughout North America Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment Train customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance Represent SignWarehouse professionally while working on-site with customers Equipment & Product Support You'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment, including: Large-format printers Vinyl cutters Laser engravers Heat presses RIP and color-management software Other digital printing and sign-making equipment What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is curious, resourceful, dependable, and enjoys solving problems. You don't necessarily need to know everything on day one. We're more interested in your ability to learn, troubleshoot, communicate, and get the job done. Ideal Qualifications Experience troubleshooting, repairing, or maintaining technical equipment Mechanical, electrical, electronics, IT, printing, or equipment-service experience is a plus Experience with large-format printers, vinyl cutters, or digital printing equipment is highly preferred Familiarity with RIP software and color management is a plus Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills email resume to Comfortable using computers, software, email, and technical documentation Ability to understand and explain technical information to customers In the subject line include your dream car and favorite super hero. Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively Willingness and ability to travel 50–75% Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to lift, move, and work around equipment as required Drug testing and background checks are required.
