**PORDUCTION COORDINATOR**
The primary purpose of this position is to schedule the unloading/loading of bulk truck loads to support meeting the customer’s expectation.
As Production Coordinator, primary responsibilities include:
- Support Hydrite’s Safety Vision, Mission and Values
- Schedule inbound and outbound loads safely and effectively to maximize resources
- Coordinate with Production Schedulers to ensure production schedules align with loading times
- Organize and distribute paperwork needed to support loading/unloading functions
- Interact with truck drivers on appointment times and signing out drivers when picking up loads
- Work with Transportation Planner on smoothing out schedule for a 2-week period
- Provide metrics on department utilization to leadership team
- Provide creative solutions to truck bay capacity constraints
- Communicate with Dispatch, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Production on relevant information
- As needed, help support truck bay operators with loading and unload procedures
- Uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers
- Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned.
**REPORTING STRUCTURE**
- This position reports to the Regional Supply Chain Manager.
**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year experience preferred in chemical processing or other manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Candidates have experience with ERP and TMS systems, preferred
- Candidates should have strong knowledge of bulk trailer loading/unloading
- Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
