Production Planner

Job description

Creates and manages efficient manufacturing schedules, ensuring materials, labor, and equipment align with demand to deliver products on time while controlling costs, using strong analytical, communication, and technical skills (ERP/MRP software), focusing on optimization, inventory control, problem-solving, and collaboration across departments like Sales, Procurement, and Production. Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering At least 4 years of relevant experience in Production Planning, preferably within the Electronics industry Strong knowledge of Production Planning and Control processes KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Scheduling : Develop and maintain detailed daily/weekly/monthly production plans. Resource Coordination : Ensure raw materials, machinery, and labor are available for production runs. Inventory Management : Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and initiate material orders. Demand Planning : Collaborate with the Resource Persons to forecast demand and adjust plans. Process Optimization : Analyze production data to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and implement LEAN principles. Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot production bottlenecks, delays, and quality issues. Reporting : Track progress, report on performance, and maintain production records.
