Production Supervisor II

Job description

### Key Responsibilities - Delivery of all key performance metrics on a particular shift/project, with a particular focus on "Core 5" and "9 panel" metrics. - Liaising with warehousing, quality assurance, bulk-packaging and sterilization areas to ensure prompt shipment of product. - Maintaining GMP / Housekeeping at a high level within the department through the involvement of all team members. - Cross-functional management of QA, materials, IS and HR support for the team. - Interacting and liaising with the other manufacturing teams and Logistics to prioritize backorders. - Administration duties which include Time and Attendance system, Holiday planning, Build Plan review, Back Order review, Travel planning etc. ### ### Requirements - Minimum Degree in any field, preferably in Manufacturing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. - Minimum 3 years of experience in production supervision with experience managing 30–40 operators. - Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. - Proven experience leading manufacturing teams and driving operational excellence. - Strong understanding of production operations, workforce management, and manufacturing processes. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. ### ### Required Skills - Ability to drive production teams and core teams to achieve operational objectives. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - People management and team leadership capabilities. - Knowledge of headcount planning and capacity planning. - Production planning and execution. - Cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Materials, Logistics, Engineering, and HR. - Problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing mindset. - Working experience in the medical device industry will be an added advantage.
