This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga. The Program Director, IT – Digital Airport SME is a senior leadership role responsible for defining, governing, and delivering integrated digital and technology solutions across the Program. This role acts as the primary bridge between construction delivery and external partners to ensure seamless integration of digital infrastructure, connected assets, and enterprise systems across all phases of design, construction, and operational readiness. Major Responsibilities • Act as single point of accountability for technology delivery across construction and digital initiatives. • Lead planning, design, build, and deployment of all IT and digital solutions within the Airport Program. • Interface with ADTS, PDB, AECOM (OE/OR), PACT, and vendors. • Define IT scope under and outside construction. • Ensure integration of infrastructure with IT systems, data capture points, and platforms. • Provide Digital Airport perspective ensuring embedded sensors and communications infrastructure. • Establish governance and ensure compliance with client IT standards and cybersecurity. • Lead architects and SMEs to deliver digital infrastructure and integration designs. • Manage stakeholder alignment across engineering, IT, and construction domains. • Ensure financial accountability and program cost management. • Translate business and technology strategies into executable IT programs. Qualifications Minimum requirements: BA/BS with 12 + years’ experience in IT or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred requirements: 15+ years in IT program leadership and large infrastructure programs. Experience in airport or critical infrastructure environments is required Strong knowledge and practical experience of IT/OT integration, digital infrastructure, and enterprise architecture. Hands-on, proven experience working with consultants, OEMs, and construction teams. Experience with implementation of technology solutions within major construction /infrastructure development program Practical experience in managing and implementing major IT core airport systems / platforms like Resource Management System (RMS), AODB and similar. hands on experience and approach in developing concepts of TAM (Total Airport Management) Executive-level leadership and stakeholder influence. Strong program governance and delivery expertise. Ability to operate across strategy, execution, and technical domains. Excellent communication and team leadership skills. Seamless integration of digital infrastructure into construction lifecycle. Strong governance and financial control. Alignment of IT systems with operational airport outcomes. Delivery of scalable Digital Airport capabilities. Additional Information This position requires work on-site/out of the office 5 days a week. This is a newly created position.
