Summit Bodyworks Truck and Van Bodies has immediate openings for a Program Manager We offer competitive wages and a full benefits package including medical, dental, life, disability insurance, 401(K), paid holidays, paid vacation/personal time, and an employee car discount program. ### ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ownership and oversight to ensure the successful on-time and quality completion of projects. - Communicate updates to all stakeholders throughout the build ensuring build milestones are being met and addressing issues or concerns as they arise. - Daily communication with fellow internal Sales, Production, Materials, and Engineering teams. Communicate questions, concerns and issues needing resolution. - Manage project changes as they occur and effectively communicate those changes to the affected parties. - Support sales helping to refine customer quotes and provide job costing feedback at the completion of projects. - Work with vendors to expedite external jobs and ensure quality and accuracy. - Facilitate Post Build Reviews - At the completion of each build to review job costing, identify what worked well, and additional areas for improvement. - Ensure necessary build documentation is available at the beginning of a build, including work orders, BOM's, prints, and work order instructions. - Support production by providing information, resources, and guidance to ensure a successful project completion. - Upon project completion work with quality to make sure standards are met, review BOM for accuracy, issue materials, and help invoice jobs in a timely manner. - Ensure any issues or concerns are documented, someone has ownership of the issue and it is actively being worked to resolution. ### WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES: - Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. - Requires eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate machinery such as a truck or a forklift. - Requires frequent standing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods. - Requires lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently. - Requires working in areas which are not ventilated or air-conditioned. - Requires the ability to read various printed and electronic reports, computer terminal screens; etc. - Work with the team on continual improvements to processes and procedures. - Maintain a clean and safe work area, maintain and wear all required person protective equipment. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant demands and shifting priorities. - Requires multi-tasking on many projects at once. ### REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: - Experience with vendor management. - Effective communication skills. - Experience with production schedules. - Have the ability to adapt to change quickly. - Effectively evaluate quality in products. - Strong emphasis on organization and attention to detail. - Previous experience with ERP software preferred - Bachelor's Degree or 2 years relevant experience
