Field has entered its next phase of growth. In June, the UK energy regulator, Ofgem, selected 16 long-duration energy storage projects to progress to delivery. Field were awarded 5 of these. Collectively, in MWh terms, our projects are approximately 3 times the capacity of all battery energy storage installed in the UK to date. We currently have 4 projects totalling over 1GWh of energy storage in construction in GB with lots more delivery to do. **Your Mission** As Project Engineer you will oversee electrical delivery on some of the world’s longest duration BESS projects, from pre-construction through to energisation and handover to Asset Operations. The role demands hands-on, pro-active management of your projects and the contractors and designers Field appoints to deliver them (BESS suppliers, BoP contractors, consultants). You'll need to be highly engaged, resilient, execution-focused and detail-oriented. You should be passionate about delivering high-quality engineering projects, well-versed electrical design standards, and comfortable working as part of a multi-disciplinary project team. You will report to the Head of Delivery (Michael) and work closely with in-house experts across Grid, BESS, Design, Procurement and Asset Operations.
