Job description
### About Zinnov Zinnov is a global management consulting firm that helps organizations make decisions that actually get used — and deliver results that matter. For over two decades, we’ve partnered with leading enterprises, high-growth technology companies, and investors to answer some of the toughest questions they face: - Where should we invest? - How do we scale globally? - What capabilities will win in the next decade? Our work shapes market entry strategies, global operating models, M&A decisions, and long-term growth bets. We’re known for being **data-led, execution-focused, and outcome-driven** — not opinion-heavy slideware. At Zinnov, how you work matters as much as what you deliver. We value independent thinking, crisp communication, and early ownership. With 450+ professionals across 10 global offices, we work across industries including Digital Services, ER&D, Enterprise Software, Semiconductors, Healthcare, BFSI, Automotive, Media & Telecom, and Private Equity. Zinnov isn’t for everyone. It’s for people who want steep learning curves, honest feedback, and the chance to see their work influence real business decisions — not just presentations. **Why Globalization Excellence (GE)** Zinnov’s Globalization Excellence (GE) practice helps enterprises build and scale Global Capability Centers (GCCs) end-to-end — from Design & Discovery to Build, Scale, and Run. In GE, you don’t work in silos. You: - Own complex, end-to-end client journeys - Work across GCC advisory, managed services, and BOT / outsourcing models - Influence leadership decisions that shape long-term talent and operating strategies - This is where strategy meets execution — and where talent plays a defining role. **About the Role** As **Project Lead II**, you will own consulting engagements end-to-end and lead high-stakes workstreams across technology-led domains (TMT, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing, Telecom, Semiconductors, Healthcare, and adjacent sectors). This role is designed for a hands-on consulting leader who can translate ambiguous client asks into structured problem statements, lead teams through deep research and analysis, and deliver crisp, decision-ready recommendations. You will work closely with Engagement Managers and senior leadership on project delivery and practice development, while also contributing to business development through solutioning, proposals, and client pitches. **What You’ll Do** **End-to-End Project Delivery** - Own engagement delivery from first contact to final output — scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and risk management. - Lead multiple projects in parallel; manage dependencies, risks, and execution trade-offs to ensure predictable delivery. - Drive “customer delight” through clear alignment, strong outputs, and high-quality client experience. **Research & Insight Leadership** - Guide teams on primary and secondary research approaches; ensure strong fact bases and data validation. - Review analysis to extract trends, patterns, and insights (qualitative and quantitative) that strengthen recommendations. - Validate strategic recommendations and ensure outputs are tight, defensible, and decision-useful. **Client & Stakeholder Management** - Own client communication and expectation management — requirements clarity, cadence, updates, and delivery alignment. - Engage effectively across CXO and senior stakeholders while also working seamlessly with working teams. - Manage research partner / external vendor relationships where applicable. **Business Development & Solutioning** - Contribute to business development by participating in client calls and pitching solutions. - Design engagement structures — resourcing plans, effort estimates, travel assumptions, and proposal/pricing inputs. - Develop proof-of-concepts when needed and shape proposal narratives and sales collateral. **Practice & Organizational Development** - Partner with senior leaders to drive practice priorities — vision, capabilities, and repeatable methodologies. - Build reusable assets: frameworks, knowledge nuggets, thought pieces, whitepapers, capability decks, and website-ready content. - Support practice team building through hiring inputs, onboarding, and capability development. **People Leadership & Coaching** - Lead and motivate teams; coach on research depth, analytical rigor, and consulting-grade communication. - Set execution standards and review discipline to ensure consistently high-quality outputs. - Drive skill building through structured feedback and practice-specific training initiatives. **What You Bring** **Qualifications & Experience** - Bachelor’s degree (Engineering) from a top-tier university. - MBA/PGDM preferred.
