What You'll Be Doing
- Manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
- Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and schedules
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to define project scope and identify risks
- Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, vendors, and field leadership
- Procure major equipment and subcontractors while managing costs and delivery schedules
- Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and support field operations
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and proactively solve project challenges
- Work closely with estimating during project turnover and throughout construction
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Assistant Project Manager: 2+ years of experience supporting electrical construction projects
- Project Manager: 5+ years of experience managing commercial electrical construction projects
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and project management
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid, or similar construction software is preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
