This job is based in Ireland. Full relocation is on offer. You must have business level English.
Job Bridge Global is recruiting an experienced Project Manager on behalf of an established specialist roofing and cladding contractor. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can take full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to final handover, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, programme control and communication.
You will work from the head office in Galway, combined with regular site involvement in line with live project requirements. Most projects are located in the West of Ireland, with some nationwide travel as required.
· Lead internal project handover meetings and confirm scope, programme, budget and key deliverables.
· Set up clear trackers for design information, approvals, procurement and project milestones.
· Review drawings, specifications and technical documents before issue to the design team.
· Coordinate project launch meetings and brief site leadership on programme, quality and safety requirements.
· Maintain consistent oversight of site operations and ensure works progress safely, efficiently and to specification.
· Run structured site reviews with foremen to forecast materials, monitor workmanship and plan labour requirements.
· Track productivity, identify delays or inefficiencies early, and implement practical corrective actions.
· Build strong working relationships with clients, main contractors, design teams, suppliers and site crews.
· Maintain accurate live programmes and ensure materials are ordered in line with project requirements.
· Support company-wide labour and resource planning through reliable schedule updates.
· Provide clear management reports covering progress, risks, bottlenecks, variations and financial exposure.
· Protect project margins through strong planning, cost awareness and disciplined delivery.
· Develop finishing and snagging schedules well in advance of practical completion.
· Coordinate close-out documentation, including operating and maintenance manuals.
· Deliver an organised, professional handover to the client or main contractor.
· Proven project management experience within roofing, cladding, building envelope or a closely related construction discipline.
· Strong understanding of construction programmes, drawings, specifications, procurement and site coordination.
· A proactive, accountable approach—you manage projects actively and address issues before they affect delivery.
· Commercial awareness and a consistent focus on quality, productivity and margin protection.
· Excellent communication and relationship-management skills across site and office-based teams.
· Confidence using digital project management, financial and document-control systems.
· Full driving licence and flexibility to travel to project sites as required.
You will be practical, organised and solutions-focused. You enjoy working as part of a team, but you are also comfortable making decisions and taking responsibility for outcomes. You communicate clearly, follow through on commitments and keep projects moving without compromising safety or quality.
€65,000 – €75,000 per year
The final package will reflect the successful candidate’s experience and suitability for the role. Additional benefits will be discussed during the recruitment process.
