Ideal candidates will have the flexibility to work from our **Jacksonville** office or from your home in the **Pensacola or Jupiter regions**, while candidates throughout **Florida** may also choose a **fully remote** arrangement. ### Projects You'll Support: - Permitting, design and construction for solid waste facilities including landfills, transfer stations, and material recovery facilities - Environmental compliance, investigation and data management / analysis - Feasibility studies, technical evaluation, operational enhancements for solid waste facilities - Solid waste management planning, sustainability, waste minimization, and beneficial reuse ### Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the full project lifecycle for solid waste initiatives—including scope development, cost estimation, planning, design, permitting, bidding, construction, and closeout - Ensure all aspects of the projects meet client expectations, adhering to the agreed scope, budget, and schedule - Resolve complex technical, financial, scheduling, and regulatory challenges through effective negotiation and solution-finding - Utilize Foth’s project management methodologies to optimize project schedule, resources, and financial performance - Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans - Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand client relationships - Uphold strict safety standards and procedures ### Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or closely related technical field - A minimum of 10 years of consulting experience in solid waste projects - At least 5 years of project management experience - Prior experience working on solid waste projects, particularly for public clients - History of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders ### Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in proposal development and cost estimation for civil construction projects - Experience in regulatory negotiations and issue resolution - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
