# Project Supervisor 3 (Positions) > International Institute of Tropical Agriculture(IITA) · Ibadan, Nigeria · Full-time · Posted 2026-09-07 \*\*Workplace:\*\* on_site \*\*Department:\*\* NRS ## Description The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigerian nationals for the position below at the Institute’s Headquarters in Ibadan. \*\*Position: Project Supervisor 3 (Positions)\*\* \*\*Contract:\*\* 3-year renewable contract \*\*Location: Ibadan\*\* \*\*Closing Date: 14 September 2026.\*\* \*\*DUTIES:\*\* · Receive, review, and analyze work orders and service requests to determine scope, priorities, and resource requirements. · Coordinate activities among FMS units, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and seamless project execution. · Develop project work plans, schedules, and cost estimates to support timely and efficient implementation. · Monitor project and work order execution to ensure tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. · Identify and resolve technical, operational, and administrative issues that may affect project delivery. · Ensure all works comply with approved designs, drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and organizational standards. · Implement and monitor materials standardization protocols to promote consistency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. · Conduct site inspections and track project progress to verify compliance with approved plans and performance targets. · Prepare periodic reports on service requests, project status, completed works, outstanding issues, and recommendations. · Maintain accurate project records and support continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Coordination Unit · Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor ## Requirements \*\*QUALIFICATION\*\* Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's degree (.) in BSC in Civil Engineering, Building Tech, or other related discipline along with 2 years of Experience performing a similar role. Prior experience in facilities management, corporate services, construction project management, operations coordination, or within a research institute, international organization, or corporate environment is highly desirable. \*\*COMPETENCIES\*\* The ideal candidate must have: 1. Technical knowledge of civil and structural engineering and construction processes. 2. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. 3. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 4.
