Job description
§ Responsible for proposal /bidding and customer-facing sales support by demonstrating expertise in flow metering solutions and measurement integrated systems for the oil & gas industry. § Good knowledge of Integrated fluid blending and metering skids. § Being able to produce initial design of Oil and Gas fiscal and custody transfer/metering systems to comply with client requirements and regional industry standards. § Preparation of estimates and technical and commercial proposal write-ups. § Technical & commercial discussions with clients. Attendance at bid clarification meetings and participation in final negotiations § Job Responsibilities: • Primary customer contact during RFQ process for metering and sampling/blending solutions • Determine timing and necessary resources to complete the comprehensive proposal. • Manage specification review to ensure a technical offering that provides the most effective and competitive solution to the customer. • Manage customer commercial documents and facilitate internal functional reviews to ensure commercial offer meets Sensia requirements. • Generate detailed and accurate pricing estimates by managing both internal and external suppliers/vendors. • Facilitate bid clarifications after presentation of the initial offer if required. • Manage monthly updates to management on status of major win and/or losses. • Manage status of assigned proposals in the Sensia quote tracking system. • Manage PO to quote handoff process with project execution team and/or order management § Bachelor in Mechanical engineering, Technical Physics or Process Technology • 5+ years’ experience preferably in liquid and gas custody transfer flow and integrated measurement solutions, including sampling and blending. o Good knowledge of petroleum liquid and gas industry codes and standards as it relates to flow measurement processes and techniques especially in China. § Self motivated with minimal supervision required. • Proven negotiating abilities and keen commercial acumen • Attention to detail and experience managing complex RFQ’s for a wide range of customers (i.e. EPC, Reps, End Users). • Excellent communication skills and conflict resolution capabilities are required. • Must communicate well with personnel at all levels; this includes verbal and written communications. • Ability to communicate effectively with customer and end user, maintain a positive and professional manner. • Computer literate: Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)/365/Teams § Proficiency in Chinese & English language is required Native Chinese communication and fluent English communication are required
