What You’ll Do: The PSP Officer is responsible for the day-to-day operational management and performance of the company’s payment provider ecosystem. The role takes ownership of PSP monitoring, incident resolution, provider coordination, onboarding and implementation activities, while analysing payment performance and identifying opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency across all supported payment channels. Acting as a key operational point of contact for payment-related matters, the PSP Officer works independently with internal stakeholders and external providers and supports the PSP & Banking Manager on broader payment initiatives and the continuous improvement of the company’s payment ecosystem. What We’re Looking For: Payment Operations Oversee the daily operational performance of PSPs, banking channels and alternative payment methods. Monitor deposit and withdrawal performance, transaction success rates and processing trends across all supported payment channels. Identify payment disruptions, performance deterioration and operational issues, taking appropriate action and escalating where necessary. Coordinate with providers and internal stakeholders to minimise payment disruption and ensure timely resolution of operational matters. Monitor payment availability and performance across relevant jurisdictions, currencies and payment methods. PSP & Provider Management Manage day-to-day operational communication and coordination with PSPs, banks and payment partners. Coordinate the operational onboarding and implementation of new PSPs, banks and payment methods, working with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate provider due diligence requests, periodic reviews and ongoing information requirements. Maintain accurate provider records, contacts, agreements and operational documentation. Follow up on provider deliverables, outstanding actions and operational requirements to ensure timely completion. Incident & Case Management Own payment-related operational incidents from identification through resolution, coordinating with providers and internal stakeholders as required. Investigate transaction and payment-processing issues, identify root causes and drive appropriate follow-up actions. Manage provider tickets and escalations, ensuring appropriate prioritisation, follow-up and closure. Liaise with Customer Support, Operations, Finance and other relevant teams on payment investigations and complex cases. Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions and recurring issues, identifying areas requiring further action or improvement. Reporting & Analysis Prepare regular reporting on payment volumes, transaction performance, provider performance and key operational metrics. Analyse payment trends and performance data to identify issues, recurring patterns and opportunities for improvement. Identify root causes of payment underperformance and recommend appropriate operational improvements. Review provider fees and payment costs and contribute to performance and cost-efficiency assessments. Prepare payment-related information and analysis for management reporting and business reviews. Payment Testing & Implementations Coordinate operational testing of new PSP integrations, payment methods and payment-related changes. Participate in and coordinate UAT activities, including test execution, issue tracking and follow-up with relevant stakeholders. Validate the operational readiness and functionality of new payment solutions prior to launch. Coordinate with Technology, Operations, Finance and external providers during payment implementations. Monitor new payment solutions following launch and address any initial operational or performance issues. Documentation & Controls Maintain and regularly review PSP procedures, operational guides and process documentation. Ensure payment inventories, provider information and jurisdictional coverage records remain accurate and up to date. Ensure operational processes are followed consistently and identify areas where controls or procedures can be strengthened. Support internal and external audits, periodic reviews and internal control activities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of payment-related processes, controls and operational workflows. Key Performance Indicators Payment channel availability and operational performance. Timely and effective resolution of payment-related incidents and escalations. Quality and accuracy of payment performance monitoring and reporting. Timely completion of PSP onboarding, implementation and review activities. Effective management and follow-up of provider actions and deliverables. Accuracy and completeness of provider and operational documentation. Successful testing and operational readiness of new payment implementations. Identification and implementation of payment process and performance improvements. Qualifications: 2–4 years of relevant experience in payments, PSP operations, banking, fintech or financial services. Good understanding of payment processing, transaction lifecycles, settlement flows and payment operations. Experience working with PSPs, banks, payment methods or other financial service providers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate payment issues and interpret performance data. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, cases and stakeholders simultaneously. Ability to work independently, take ownership of operational matters and drive issues through to resolution. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Experience within CFD, FX, fintech, online trading or other regulated financial services environments is considered an advantage.
