Our providers have the space to do meaningful medication management, not rushed checklists. **Integrated, Collaborative Model** You’ll work closely with therapists, care coordinators, and clinical leadership as part of a highly collaborative care team. **Low Administrative Burden** Sunflower leverages modern tools, including AI-supported documentation, to reduce paperwork and protect clinician energy. **Clinical Voice Matters** As an early clinical hire, you’ll have real influence on workflows, protocols, and the evolution of Sunflower’s care model. ## **About the Role** Sunflower is seeking a **Pennsylvania-licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner** to provide high-quality, virtual psychiatric care to adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. In this role, you will work closely with Sunflower’s VP of Therapy and interdisciplinary clinical team, practicing under the supervision of a physician owner of the professional corporation. As an early clinical hire, you’ll contribute to a developing care model while focusing primarily on high-quality medication management and integrated treatment planning. This is a full-time, remote position, with scheduling structured to support both consistent client care and clinician sustainability. ## **Responsibilities** - Provide virtual psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management - Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with Pennsylvania scope of practice and Sunflower protocols - Educate clients on medications, including risks, benefits, alternatives, and expected outcomes Collaborate with therapists and care team members to support integrated treatment planning - Participate in clinical case discussions and team meetings - Maintain timely, accurate documentation within the electronic health record - Support quality, safety, and compliance standards across clinical care - Support additional clinical responsibilities as needed to ensure high-quality, coordinated care ## **Qualifications** - Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania PMHNP license (multi-state a plus) - Master of Science in Nursing with Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis - DEA registration (or willingness to obtain) - 2+ years providing psychiatric care (experience with SUD strongly preferred) - Comfort treating adults with complex, co-occurring conditions - Clear communicator with strong clinical judgment - Startup mindset: bias for action, low ego, high ownership - Excited to build something new, not just maintain something old **What you’ll get** - Competitive cash compensation $120k - $160k (DOE) - 50% medical / 75% dental / 100% vision - 401(k) with up to 3.5% match - Unlimited PTO - Remote-first work - live anywhere on Earth (or Mars if the Wi-Fi holds) - Modern tooling, including AI-assisted documentation - Physician supervision is fully provided and covered by the role - A small, highly collaborative clinical team that values quality, learning, and continuous improvement. - The chance to meaningfully contribute to how psychiatric care works inside a category-defining product
