Hybrid Lokation: Prague (Pankrác) Language: English required, Czech an advantage **Level:** Expert **Form of cooperation:** Contraktor **Start date:** asap **Allocation:** Full-Time, HO, 1-2x onsite **Allocation length:** long-term ### Overall Purpose of the Role: - Work as a QA / Test Automation Engineer within the FX technology team, contributing to projects as defined by business requirements and prioritisation. - The role focuses on expanding and maintaining automated test coverage for complex, business critical applications, working closely with developers, product, and infrastructure teams to ensure quality and reliability. ### Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automated test cases. - Increase and maintain test coverage across components, integrations, and end to end flows. - Contribute tests throughout the development lifecycle, aligned with feature delivery and release plans. - Execute and analyse automated and manual test runs, identifying defects and quality risks. - Work closely with developers to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and improve testability. - Maintain and extend existing tests to keep them reliable, readable, and maintainable. - Participate in design and solution discussions from a quality and risk perspective. - Support release activities by providing test results, coverage insight, and sign off input. ### Essential Skills / Basic Qualifications: - Strong experience with variety of test automation frameworks - Experience testing multi tier enterprise systems with messaging or event driven components - Hands on experience with automated testing (component, integration, regression, end to end) - Experience testing back end systems or other high performance platforms - Good understanding of relational databases and data driven testing - Ability to write test code using one or more programming or scripting languages (e.g. Python, Java, C++, bash) - Strong knowledge of standard development and CI/CD tools (e.g. Git, TeamCity, GitLab) - Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and cloud native testing principles - Prior exposure to real time, pricing, FX, or trading systems is highly desirable ### WEB - title=QA/Test Automation role Engineer - job=tester
