# 💼 Job Title: QA Tester / Software Test Engineer ## 📍 Location [City/Remote/Hybrid] ## 🏢 Experience 1–5 years (can adjust) --- ## 📌 Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented **QA Tester** to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying bugs, executing test cases, and ensuring that products meet functional and performance requirements before release. --- ## 🛠 Key Responsibilities - Analyze project requirements and prepare **test plans, test cases, and test scripts**. - Perform **manual and/or automated testing** on web and mobile applications. - Identify, track, and report bugs using tools like **JIRA, Bugzilla**. - Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing. - Work closely with developers to resolve defects. - Perform **API testing** using tools like Postman. - Validate UI/UX functionality across different browsers and devices. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. - Maintain documentation for testing processes and results. --- ## 🧑‍💻 Technical Skills Required ### Testing Skills - Manual Testing - Automation Testing (Selenium, TestNG, Cypress – optional) - Regression, Smoke, Sanity Testing - API Testing ### Tools - JIRA / Azure DevOps - Postman / Swagger - Selenium WebDriver (good to have) ### Programming (Optional but Preferred) - Basic knowledge of Java / Python / JavaScript ### Database - Basic SQL for data validation --- ## ✅ Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field - Strong understanding of **Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)** - Knowledge of **Agile/Scrum methodology** --- ## 💡 Preferred Skills - Experience in **automation frameworks** - Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins) - Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter) - Mobile testing experience (Android/iOS) --- ## 🤝 Soft Skills - Attention to detail - Strong analytical skills - Good communication - Problem-solving ability ### Footer for a Job Post
