**QE Specialist** Location: Paseo De Roxas, Makati City Experience: 6 - 8 years Job Mode: Contract Work Mode: WFH/Hybrid **Job Summary** As a QE Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products. Your responsibilities will include significant focus on performance, automation, error-recovery, resiliency, and configurability. **Responsibilities and Duties** - Deep understanding of architecture/implementation of a feature and consistently avoids redundant testing and unnecessary testing - Deep expertise in one or more types of testing (frontend, backend, automation, etc) and some familiarity with other types - Can drive and plan testing of projects that could span into multiple quarters, across multiple teams - Able to point out non- obvious flaws and under- specified scenarios in a specification - Can understand test automation, and which test should be automated vs run manually - Able to identify the root- cause of bugs in areas of domain expertise - Can identify and drive impactful quality process improvements - Able to propose and advise on quality metrics for the projects with assistance from senior leaders - Can effectively leverage the data from quality metrics to advocate for customer impacting product improvements - Tools: - Mindmup for test case creation - Postman for web service testing - Mobile Simulator: XCode Simulator for iOS, Android Studio Emulator for Android - Nodejs and Cucumber for test automation **Qualifications and Skills** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. - 5+ years software testing experience - Advanced Python programming skills - Solid experience with SQL - Solid experience and understanding of at least one open-sourced test automation framework (e.g. Behave) - Experience with command line GIT - Knowledge in CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating test automation to them - Experience with Docker - Pure Automation testing with AI knowledge and/or experience( Selenium, AWS,CI/ CD) **Role-specific Requirements** - Technologies: Automation, Behave, Python **About Encora** Encora is the preferred digital engineering and modernization partner of some of the world’s leading enterprises and digital native companies.
