Our associates are expert quality assurance professionals with extensive experience and local expertise, enabling us to represent our clients on-demand and with greater speed and efficiency than our competitors We’re hiring for a **Quality Cable & Harness Inspector** position in Los Angeles and Orange County area. If you have a passion for cable harnesses and a keen eye for quality, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! This is a **flexible, full-time or part-time role**, averaging 3- 5 **days per week**, **on an as-needed basis.** Where inspectors may **accept or decline individual inspection requests**. ### Key Responsibilities - Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections at one or more client suppliers - Ensure products meet quality and specification standards - Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications - Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.) - Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects - Interpret manufacturing drawings and identifying non-conformances - Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules - Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized ### Required Qualifications - Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods - Familiar with IPC-A-620 standards - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields - Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and identify wiring components - Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC) - Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills ### Preferred Qualifications - Certified or previously certified in IPC-A-620 - Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering - Knowledge of electronic contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing - Preferred: 5 years of experience, with 2 years as a Cable and Harness Inspector
