We are looking to add a dedicated and talented **Quality Control Inspector** to our 2nd shift team. In this position, you will work closely on an integrated team of CesiumAstro managers, engineers, and other cross-functional personnel. You will be responsible for performing inspections on electronic assemblies and finished high reliability products in compliance with CesiumAstro Quality Management System, international standards, and regulatory requirements. ### JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Execute quality control processes per purchased product, manufacturing operations, and customer quality requirements. - Inspection of parts, assemblies, and finished products utilizing necessary tools and equipment in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and drawings. - Perform measurement using calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, and CMM/VMM. - Document inspection activities using electronic systems, written logs, and labels. - Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvement of inspection methods, inspection plans, and internal quality procedures and processes. - Assist with the resolution to internal/external nonconformance using root cause, corrective action, and 8D methodologies. - Assist in data analysis and department metrics reporting as required. - Assist with the continuous improvement initiatives. - Assist in the resolution of audit findings, observations, and recommendations. - Assist with the control and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB). - Drive scheduling of day-to-day processes; ensure timely and accurate turnaround. - Other QC duties as assigned. ### JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Associate degree in a technical field preferred. H.S. Diploma or equivalent required. - 2 –4 years relevant work experience or training required, preferably in a regulated environment (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical device). - Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems. - Experience with microscopic visual inspection. - Experience with ERP and PLM software systems. - Proficiency with reading engineering documents, CAD drawings, and detailed work instructions. - Strong digital, written, and verbal communication skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner. ### PREFERRED EXPERIENCE - Experience in the aerospace or electronics industry - Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) - J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and/or IPC/WHA-A-620 certification
