We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Cable & Harness Inspector** to join our team in Mexico. This is a f**ull-time position.** The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in cable and harness inspection, excellent attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering high-quality work. If you're looking for a flexible opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply. **Must have flexibility to work OT and weekends if needed.** ### Key Responsibilities - Ensure products meet quality and specification standards - Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications - Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.) - Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects - Interpret manufacturing drawings and identifying non-conformances - Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules - Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized ### Required Qualifications - Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods - Familiar with IPC-A-620 standards - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields - Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and identify wiring components - Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC) - Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills - Proven ability to de-escalate workplace conflicts effectively - **Bilingual English and Spanish must be able to read and write** - Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment ### Preferred Qualifications - Certified or previously certified in IPC-A-620 is a plus but not required - Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering - Knowledge of electronic contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing - Preferred: 5 years of experience, with 2 years as a Cable and Harness Inspector
