Department: 70100 Wake Forest Ambulatory Ventures: Greensboro Medical Plaza Northwest - Surgery Center Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: No holidays or weekends Pay Range: $26.55 - $39.85 POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 sign-on bonus ($10,000 for new graduates) provided the candidate meets the eligibility requirements Relocation Assistance: $5,000 Relocation Assistance for qualified candidates Location: Greensboro, NC Shift Schedule: Full Time Days, No Weekends or Holidays YOU’LL NEED: Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician. Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity. Prepares and administers contrast media as required. Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary. Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills. Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
