Job description
Primary Responsibilities Drivers assigned to this position will: Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on regional routes throughout the Southwest Transport dry van freight to customer locations Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain electronic logs and shipping documentation Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures Compensation $0.53 CPM on all dispatched miles (loaded and empty) Average 2,240+ miles per week Safety incentive opportunities available Additional $0.01 CPM available for drivers with a Hazmat endorsement (endorsement not required) Driver Pay Protection Program available Weekly pay via direct deposit Route Information Regional Southwest operation Weekly home time with a 34-hour restart Dry van trailers No-touch freight Primarily drop-and-hook freight Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have: Valid Class A CDL Minimum 6 months of recent Class A tractor-trailer experience Be at least 21 years of age Meet DOT qualification requirements Authorization to work in the United States Benefits Eligible drivers receive: Paid orientation Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan Weekly direct deposit Additional Hiring Information Drivers who have successfully completed the FMCSA SAP Return-to-Duty process may be considered if all SAP requirements have been completed and verifiable Class A driving experience has been obtained after completing the SAP program.
