A Registered Behavior Technician is a paraprofessional who can work directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs including students who require daily implementation of a crisis management plan; require complex verbal behavior programming; and/or extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis. The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support.
