Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - BCBA Trainee / Student Analyst

Job description

**Alpaca Health** Work Location: In Person **Student Analyst (BCBA Trainee)** If you’re in school to become a BCBA, this is a role that challenges you, changes lives, and builds a real career. What matters most is that you love working with kids, you’re dependable, and you’re ready to show up. Alpaca Health is a multi-state network of independent ABA therapists, working in homes, schools, and daycares. You’ll work alongside a dedicated BCBA who mentors you from day one, not a manager, not a corporate supervisor. **The job** You’ll work one-on-one with kids with autism in their homes, classrooms, and communities. Every day is different. You’ll follow a personalized plan from your BCBA, implement behavior strategies, collect data, and build the consistent relationships that help kids grow. Your BCBA is closely involved and reachable, so there’s no guessing and no flying solo. **What’s in it for you:** - $20–$30/hour, based on experience and location - Direct mentorship from a dedicated BCBA, not managers or a corporate chain of command - Full-time or part-time (some flexibility across mornings, afternoons, and evenings is needed to meet client needs; not sure if a schedule fits? Just ask, we have many) - Career growth support, including a path toward BCBA certification **You’re a good fit if you:** - Are currently in school to become a BCBA - Are currently a grad student in a psychology or social work program - Genuinely enjoy working with children, especially kids who need extra patience and creativity - Have reliable availability across mornings, afternoons, or evenings, since our clients count on consistency - Come from education, childcare, psychology, social work, or any role where you showed up for kids - Have reliable transportation to reach client homes and schools - Can keep up physically, getting on the floor, moving around, staying active (able to lift ~50 lbs) - Are at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and can pass a background check **Why Alpaca Health** We’re not a big clinic chain. We’re a network of independent therapists who chose this work because they believe in it, and we match every team member with a BCBA who mentors, not manages. We match families with providers who have availability now, and we work where families actually are. If you want a career where you see the results of your work every single day, this is it. **Ready? Apply now.** Not sure if you qualify? Apply anyway and tell us about yourself. We’d rather talk to one more curious person than miss someone great.
