Job description
Join Our Team As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in supporting clients' nutritional health and recovery. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to develop individualized nutrition plans, provide education and counseling, and help clients achieve their treatment goals. Qualifications Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field Registered Dietitian credential required Minimum of two years of professional experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Experience working with eating disorders, substance use disorders, or mental health populations preferred Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for newly admitted clients Develop individualized meal plans to support recovery from eating disorders and co-occurring substance use disorders Provide individual nutrition counseling sessions at least weekly Facilitate nutrition education groups and healthy recovery-focused programming Support and supervise meals while modeling healthy food behaviors Educate staff and family members on meal plan support and nutritional recovery Collaborate with treatment team members to monitor client progress and adjust nutrition goals as needed Coordinate aftercare planning with community providers Maintain documentation in accordance with agency and CARF standards Assist in creating a safe, supportive, and therapeutic treatment environment What We Offer Crossroads proudly supports professional development and growth for employees interested in expanding their expertise in substance use, mental health, and eating disorder treatment.
