Demonstrate proficiency in pattern recognition. Perform job functions following ACNS Guidelines for Neurodiagnostic procedures. Perform various types of video EEG recordings according to ACNS Guidelines for interpretation by the reading physician. Identify EEG patterns and artifacts. Communicate with attending physician for analysis and interpretation. Utilize International 10-20 measurement system to connect leads to the patients head and run EEG study. Perform prescribed testing as ordered by physicians. Reviews patient's history and educates patient about procedure. Monitors and documents patient's condition and responds to and reports any seizure symptoms.
