Job Summary: A Registered Nurse – School Health (10 Months) cares for patients in schools' clinics, homes, and other community settings under the direction of a nursing supervisor or other health professional. Work of this class involves no supervisory duties or responsibilities. Incumbents receive moderate supervision from a technical superior. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek. Work is performed in schools, clinics, homes or other community settings where incumbents may encounter illness, disease or stressful situations. Minimum Qualifications: On or before the date of filing the application, each candidate must: Education: Have an associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited college.
