Patients have a longer length of stay on this unit so creating bonds with our patients is an amazing experience. Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates • $10,000 Sign-On Bonus • 80 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off • Up to $3,000 Relocation bonus • $1.00 Certification pay • $1.00 BSN pay • Career Ladder Bonus eligible up to $5,000 The Medical-Surgical nurse is responsible for managing the care of the adult or geriatric patient experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education.
