This structured training program provides the education, clinical experience, and mentorship needed to build confidence and competency in acute care nursing. The program includes: A 14-week clinical orientation with a dedicated preceptor. Hands-on experience through both direct patient care and observation . Required computer-based learning, in-person classroom instruction, and simulation training . Completion of ECG proficiency within the first two weeks of orientation. ALS certification for applicable critical care units. Travel to designated training locations as needed. The ideal candidate is a licensed RN who: Is committed to completing all program requirements. Has a strong desire to transition into acute care nursing. Enjoys learning in a structured, collaborative, team-based environment. Additional Information: TTAC cohorts begin throughout the year, with monthly start dates and corresponding acceptance deadlines. Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn salary increases of up to 20%* through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria. Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines * Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients. * Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. * Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. * Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. * Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. * Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and interventions continuously, making necessary adjustments to improve patient health and achieve positive outcomes. * Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe healthcare environment. * Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and their families, addressing their emotional and psychological needs. * Supervise and delegate care provided by members of the healthcare team to ensure quality and efficiency. * Engage in continuous professional development and participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. * Respond to code situations promptly and effectively, providing necessary interventions to stabilize patients.
