Directs and coordinates nursing personnel activities on designated shifts, overseeing staff and patient care. Assures real-time documentation, including review of task lists and prompt initiation and sign-off of physician’s orders. Advises nurses on the appropriateness of calling physicians. Assists staff in using electronic quality management tools to evaluate treatment plans and ensure quality outcomes.
