## Role Overview As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting their physical and emotional needs. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure exemplary patient outcomes, while nurturing a compassionate environment. ### Key Responsibilities - Administer medications, treatments, and procedures to patients according to physician orders and established policies. - Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions. - Provide consultation and emotional support to patients and their families. - Coordinate with healthcare professionals in meeting patient health needs. - Perform routine nursing assessments and document findings. ### Required Skills and Experience - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting. ### Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills - Specialized knowledge in critical care or emergency nursing. - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. ### Education and Certifications Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
