Department: 34423 Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center - Nursing: Progressive Coronary Care 5W Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Nights Pay Range $34.90 - $52.35 Join our dynamic and collaborative Cardiac Step-Down Unit , a 34-bed progressive care environment specializing in the care of patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Our team provides high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, supportive setting. This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Primary Patient Population (60%): Cardiac procedural patients (e.g., cardiac catheterization, echocardiograms) Pre-operative and post-operative cardiac surgical patients Progressive care/step-down level monitoring and interventions Secondary Patient Population (40%): Cardiology and pulmonology patients General medical/surgical patients requiring intermediate care Responsibilities: Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to cardiac and higher acuity patients in the critical care area Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and ongoing care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based projects Qualifications: Current RN license in the state of GA Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills Why Join Us?
