Department: 34420 Carolinas Medical Center - Nursing: 4B Hematology/Oncology Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: 40 Hours: (2) 12 hour shifts in staffing; (2) 8 hour shifts in admin Pay Range $44.15 - $66.25 Where You Will Work: Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center 4B - BMT/Cellular Therapy/Hematology Oncology is a 16-bed adult bone marrow and cellular therapy unit. The unit cares for patients with hematologic malignancies (leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, etc.) undergoing bone marrow/stem cell transplants, CAR-T Cell and other investigational therapies for these malignancies. We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association 6 months of RN experience Minimum two years nursing experience preferred. Previous management experience preferred. BSN required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program. Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is required within 1 year of eligibility for professional certification exam. Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader. What You’ll Do: As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
