We know the winning recipe is creating a space where you can do meaningful work and be part of the special kind of team unique to veterinary medicine, where the best way to combat compassion fatigue is by taking care of one another. **Now Hiring Across Multiple Specialty Departments** **• Medical Oncology • Internal Medicine • Cardiology • Neurology • Surgery & Anesthesia • Emergency & Critical Care** --- **About You** - Registered Veterinary Technicians preferred, but will consider unlicensed techs - 2+ years working in a veterinary clinic - Emergency or specialty experience a plus - Reliable, organized, and committed to providing high-level patient and client care **Experience** - Venipuncture, catheter placement, and diagnostic sample collection - Anesthesia monitoring, sedation, and procedures - Placing IV catheters and managing fluid therapy - Medication calculation and administration (IV, IM, SQ) - Diagnostic imaging assistance (radiographs, ultrasound support) - Monitoring hospitalized patients and providing compassionate nursing care - Surgical prep, sterile technique, and instrument handling - Patient monitoring and pain scoring, with trend recognition --- **Compensation** - **Base Pay:** $34.00-$45.00/hour - Pay depends on experience, whether you are licensed/unlicensed, and differentials - **Differentials:** $3.00/hour weekends, $4.00/hour for overnights - Registered Veterinary Technicians **eligible for $4,000 sign-on bonus** - Oncology, Ophthalmology, Surgery/Anesthesia **eligible for a $6,000 sign-on bonus** - Surgery Technicians On-Call Extras - **$200** for being on-call, plus an additional **$300** for coming in - Eligible for differentials and overtime --- **Benefits** - Medical, vision and dental insurance options, with some plans available at little to no cost - 401(k) with employer match - Paid time off and paid parental leave - Covered licensing fees and continuing education allowance - Mental health support through Talkspace and ComPsych - Pet insurance - Uniform allowance - Teammate referral bonus program: **$5,000 for RVT referrals** **Hospital-Specific Benefits** - In house fun committee - Bridge toll reimbursement - Employee discounts on hospital services, including vaccines and parasiticides --- **Location** - 1 Thorndale Drive, San Rafael, CA 94903 Base Pay $34—$45 USD *Veritas Veterinary Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
