An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our friendly and supportive small animal practice in Salisbury. Our practice is located in a fantastic setting on a popular retail park, with convenient amenities nearby including a 24-hour gym. Salisbury is a beautiful historic city surrounded by stunning countryside. The New Forest is right on our doorstep, Stonehenge sits just to the north, London is just over an hour away by train, and the south coast can be reached within 30 minutes. This role offers excellent opportunities to develop and use your clinical nursing abilities, including running nurse clinics, taking and processing blood samples, placing catheters, performing x-rays, monitoring anaesthesia, and more. We are looking for someone with solid general nursing experience and excellent client care skills. The ideal candidate will be friendly, enthusiastic, down-to-earth, and have a genuine passion for animal welfare. As a first-opinion practice, no two days are the same – some can be very busy while others are quieter, which keeps the role varied and interesting. As a small, welcoming team with two permanent vets, we're looking for a confident and adaptable RVN who enjoys collaborating with different clinicians and working styles. We are passionate about empowering our nurses, encouraging them to utilise their skills fully and embrace Schedule 3 responsibilities within a supportive environment. This role can either be full-time, or part-time. Our practice opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 7:00pm and Saturday 9:00am – 3:00pm.
