Job Description Job Title: Product Compliance & Regulatory Advisor (Non-Food Products) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Location: Work From Home Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5:30pm Salary: Competitive Industry: Regulatory Compliance / Consumer Products / Testing, Inspection & Certification Are you passionate about product compliance, consumer safety, and navigating complex regulatory requirements? We are looking for an experienced Product Compliance & Regulatory Advisor to join our growing Advisory Team. In this role, you will provide expert guidance on UK and EU legislation relating to non-food consumer products, helping clients ensure their products, packaging, specifications, and labelling meet the latest regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with client engagement and business support. Key Responsibilities Review, verify and approve product specifications, artwork, pack copy and labelling against current and emerging UK and EU legislation. Provide expert regulatory advice and guidance to clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders on consumer product compliance requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, design agencies and other key stakeholders. Monitor regulatory developments, industry trends and codes of practice, ensuring accurate and up-to-date advice is delivered. Support continuous improvement through the development of compliance processes, technical checklists, training materials and best practice guidance. Qualifications Degree qualified in a relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience with a minimum of 5 years in a regulatory affairs or product quality role. Strong knowledge of UK and EU consumer product legislation, labelling requirements and industry codes of practice. Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Strong communication skills with the confidence to advise and influence stakeholders at all levels. Desirable Experience Experience working with major retailers, manufacturers or consumer product brands. Knowledge of regulatory software, compliance management systems or digital compliance tools. Experience supporting process improvement, quality systems or change management initiatives. Professional qualifications in regulatory affairs, quality assurance or related disciplines.
