We are currently seeking an experienced Remote Electrical Engineer to support a leading U.S.-based MEP engineering firm on a high-profile semiconductor facility project. In this role, you will work remotely as part of a multidisciplinary design team, contributing to technically complex, mission-critical facility projects. Responsibilities:
- Lead and support electrical system design for semiconductor and high-tech facilities including cleanrooms, manufacturing areas, labs, utility plants, and data center-like infrastructure
- Design and document power distribution systems as the primary focus area
- Provide secondary support for lighting, grounding, UPS, generators, panels, low voltage systems, controls, and equipment/vendor coordination
- Develop construction documents and technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinate with equipment vendors
- Use Bluebeam for document review and project coordination
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and industry standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
- 7–12 years of experience in MEP electrical design
- Strong emphasis on power distribution within technical/semiconductor facility types; experience with cleanrooms, manufacturing, labs, or similar complex facilities highly preferred
- Experience with lighting, grounding, UPS, generators, panels, low voltage, controls, and vendor coordination
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam (required)
- Familiarity with SKM/ETAP, EasyPower, or similar short-circuit/arc-flash analysis software is a plus
- Fluent in English (required)
