Essential Functions: The Trainer of Ventilator Assisted Care Program plans, organizes and implements home and community-based trainings for the assigned patient group. Develops goals and objectives to achieve appropriate training as requested/needed by various agencies and staff caring for the clients in the community. EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS 2 to 3 years of experience in Pediatrics. (CHNOLA) EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS Preferred: Bachelor's Degree (CHNOLA) Required: Graduate from AMA School of RT (CHNOLA) LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS Certification Name: Certified Respiratory Therapist Required Issuer: National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Licensure Speciality: Certification Entity: CHNOLA Certification Name: Licensed Respiratory Therapist Required Issuer: State Board of Medical Examiners Licensure Speciality: Licensure Entity: CHNOLA SKILLS AND ABILITIES Communication and customer relation skills. Develops goals and objectives to achieve appropriate training as requested/needed by various agencies and school education staff caring for clients in the community. Computer skills, computer programs, give presentations and coordinate events.
