We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. We are seeking a respite worker to provide respite care for a 4-year-old boy with autism and Klinefelter syndrome in his home! This child loves playing with toys, swings, jumping on the trampoline, and going to the park. Respite care will be conducted in the child's home - Community outings are also encouraged. WAGE : $17.66 per hour (pay increase based on experience) SCHEDULE 15 Hours per week 2 pm-5 pm, Monday – Friday Flexible schedule to be determined by family JOB DUTIES Supervision and safety Toileting (pull-ups/ potty training) Meal prep (snack time) Active attentiveness Build confidence/independence Companionship and social engagement BENEFITS Flexible schedule Positive working environment/responsive employer/family. Job satisfaction by making a HUGE impact in someone's life JOB REQUIREMENTS Authorized to work in the U.S. Criminal/Caregiver background check. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance preferred. Compassionate individuals with childcare or respite care experience preferred. Experience with children with physical disabilities and/or development disability preferred.
