We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. Are you looking for a part-time position in the Eau Claire area? Are you patient, attentive, and have experience working with children with special needs? If you answered yes to those questions, we would love to hear from you! We are looking for a respite care provider for a young boy in Eau Claire, WI. This position would provide up to 16.5 hours per week. The child in need of respite is very easy-going with a big personality! He is nonverbal and utilizes an AAC device, sign language, and body language to communicate. Schedule & Pay: Hourly Wage: $17.66 Overnight Pay: $256 • Eau Claire, WI o Respite care would be provided in your home and out in the community. • Schedule: o Weekdays from 3pm-6pm (16.5hrs/week) About The Child • Nonverbal (utilizes AAC & Sign Language to communicate) Enjoys: • Outdoor play (parks, watching airplanes) • Car rides • Going through the car wash • Music • Taking photos & videos on his tablet Responsibilities • Supervision • Engage with the child with his favorite activities and special interests • Personal cares (this child utilizes pullups) • Meal prepping (as needed) • Provide support at after-school activities.
