Restaurant Supervisor - Papa's Loft House

Als Restaurant Supervisor ben je hét gezicht van ons restaurant ‘Papa’s Loft House’, geïnspireerd door de verhalen van Papa: Ernest Hemingway. Je vormt de schakel tussen het team en de Operationeel Manager.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse gang van zaken in het restaurant. Je stuurt het team van bedieningsmedewerkers aan, maakt de roosters, bent een vraagbaak voor het team en treedt coachend op. Daarnaast zorg je dat er altijd voldoende voorraad is en houd je zicht op de kosten. Tijdens openingstijden zorg jij ervoor dat het restaurant, het terras en onze rooftop er altijd fantastisch bij staat en alles efficiënt verloopt. Ook ben je actief betrokken bij de voorbereiding en uitvoering van de events, zoals BBQ’s en walking dinners, zowel in het restaurant als op de rooftop. Je vindt het leuk om mee te denken over de toekomst en onze brand!

Papa’s Loft House is onderdeel van Papa's Houses en is een bewezen concept sinds 1989. Papa’s Loft House is gelegen in het Gelderlandplein in Amsterdam met een groene rooftop. Gasten ontsnappen hier aan de drukte en genieten van, good times & great food. Binnen biedt het restaurant en Papa’s Café plaats aan circa 200 gasten en op het Rooftop terras +150 gasten. Verder vind je naast het restaurant, ook ons hotel: Element Amsterdam Hotel. Papa's Beach House heeft haar locatie in het Haarlemmermeerse Bos in Hoofddorp aan een prachtig meer. Beide locaties hebben verschillende mogelijkheden voor het organiseren van besloten evenementen, zakelijke borrels en bruiloften.

A WEEK IN THE LIFE OF…

Je werkt 4 of 5 dagen per week in het restaurant. Op de piektijden tussen 12:00 en 14:00 & 18:00 en 20:00 zorg je dat je op de vloer bent, daartussen heb je tijd voor jouw administratieve taken. Je vormt de schakel tussen het team en de Operationeel Manager en hebt daar ook wekelijks overleg mee. Je maakt het rooster minimaal 3 weken vooruit, waardoor je weet waar je aan toe bent! Work hard, play harder!

As the Restaurant Supervisor, you are the face of our restaurant Papa’s Loft House, inspired by the stories of Papa: Ernest Hemingway. You are the key between the team and the Operations Manager.

You are responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant. You lead the service team, create work schedules, serve as a go-to person for the team, and take on a coaching role. You ensure stock levels are sufficient and keep an eye on costs. During opening hours, you make sure the restaurant, terrace, and rooftop are always looking their best and that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. In addition, you’re involved in preparing and executing events such as BBQs and walking dinners in our restaurant and on the rooftop. You enjoy thinking ahead, contributing ideas about the future, and helping shape and grow our brand.

Papa’s Loft House is located on Gelderlandplein in Amsterdam and features a green rooftop. Here, guests can escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy good times and great food. Inside, the restaurant and Papa’s Café can accommodate approximately 200 guests, and the rooftop terrace can accommodate an additional 150 guests. In addition to the restaurant, you’ll also find our hotel: Element Amsterdam Hotel. Papa’s Beach House is located in the Haarlemmermeerse Bos in Hoofddorp, on a beautiful lake. Both locations offer various options for hosting private events, business receptions, and weddings.

A WEEK IN THE LIFE OF...

You’ll work 4 or 5 days a week in the restaurant. During peak hours (12:00–14:00 and 18:00–20:00), you're present on the floor to lead and support the team. In between, you have time for your administrative tasks. As the key between the team and the Operations Manager, you’ll also have weekly check-ins to align and optimize operations. You’ll prepare the schedule at least three weeks in advance—so you always know what’s coming! Work hard, play harder!
