Job description
To oversee the complete operations of a high-volume retail fuel station, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, safety compliance, and profitability while leading a team of retail associates. Operations Management Manage and oversee daily retail station operations ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Ensure 100% product availability (fuel, lubricants, LPG) with proper inventory management. Implement visual merchandising standards for the convenience store. Oversee equipment maintenance (dispensers, tanks, POS systems). Manage shift scheduling for 24/7 operations. Financial Performance: Achieve monthly sales targets for fuel and non-fuel products. Control operational costs (energy, shrinkage, labor) within budget. Daily cash management and banking procedures. Analyze sales reports to identify growth opportunities. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise station attendants (10-15 staff). Conduct weekly team meetings and performance reviews. Implement incentive programs to drive sales performance. Customer Service: Maintain NPS (Net Promoter Score) above industry benchmark. Provide exceptional customer service, including customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Implement loyalty programs and promotions. HSSE Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols (fuel handling, fire prevention). Conduct monthly safety drills and equipment checks. Ensure full compliance with DPR, SON, and environmental regulations. Site Maintenance: Maintain impeccable station cleanliness (forecourt, shops, restrooms). Oversee landscaping and exterior appearance. Manage third-party vendors (cleaning, security). Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field. 5+ years’ experience in retail management (fuel station preferred). Experience: Experience in the oil and gas sector. POS and inventory management systems proficiency. Computer literate in Word, Excel, Office Outlook, and Financial Software. Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Problem-solving skills. Financial literacy (P&L understanding). Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. HSSE certification (mandatory). Performance Metrics Fuel volume throughput (Monthly). Non-fuel revenue contribution. Shrinkage control (90%). Safety audit results.
