Retail Supervisor Reports To: Store Leader / Assistant Store Leader Status: Regular Hourly About the Role The Retail Supervisor supports daily store operations while leading a team of Retail Associates to deliver an exceptional customer and donor experience. This hands-on leadership role helps drive sales, donation processing, merchandise presentation, team performance, and operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment. What You'll Do • Lead, coach, and support Retail Associates during daily operations. • Deliver outstanding customer and donor service and help resolve concerns. • Monitor sales floor activity, donation processing, merchandising, and store presentation. • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback. • Ensure compliance with company policies, cash-handling procedures, and safety standards. • Help prevent loss, protect company assets, and report operational concerns. • Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming store environment. • Open and close the store and oversee operations in the absence of store leadership. • Support achievement of sales, production, and customer service goals. • Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For • High school diploma or GED. • One year of retail experience required. • Previous supervisory, leadership, or keyholder experience preferred. • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable. • Comfortable using POS systems, basic computer applications, and cash-handling procedures. • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday. • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly; occasional heavier lifting may be required. • Ability to operate a computer, cash register, and other retail equipment. • Regular and reliable attendance is required. Work Environment Retail store environment with moderate noise levels and frequent interaction with customers, donors, employees, and donated merchandise.
